Terms of Service

By accessing or using Feedzap (the "Service") — including our website at www.feedzap.live, our dashboard, and our embeddable JavaScript widget — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

Feedzap is a visual feedback and bug-reporting platform that allows website owners ("Users") to embed a lightweight JavaScript widget on their websites. End users of those websites ("Reporters") can use the widget to submit feedback that includes:

• A screenshot of the page or selected element
• The CSS selector of the highlighted element
• A written message or description
• Metadata such as the page URL, browser, operating system, and viewport size
• Emoji reactions and categorisation tags

Feedzap provides a dashboard for Users to review, organise, and act on the feedback they receive. We also offer integrations with third-party services such as Slack and custom webhooks.

To use the Service you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported OAuth provider (e.g. Google). You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at hi@feedzap.live

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be shared or transferred without our written consent.

Free Plan

Feedzap offers a free tier that allows up to 20 feedback submissions per calendar month per project. No payment details are required. When the monthly limit is reached, the widget will temporarily stop accepting submissions until the next billing cycle begins.

Premium Plan

The Premium plan is offered at $10 USD per project per month and unlocks unlimited feedback submissions, AI-powered insights, and priority support. Payment is processed securely by Razorpay. By subscribing you authorise Razorpay to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your project settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

"User Content" means any data, text, images, or other material that you or your Reporters submit through the Service — including feedback messages, screenshots, and project settings.

You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. By submitting User Content you grant Feedzap a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that any User Content you collect through the widget complies with applicable privacy laws, and that your own website's privacy policy informs Reporters about the data collected by the Feedzap widget.

When you embed the Feedzap widget on your website, the widget may collect the following information from Reporters:

• Page URL and referrer
• Browser name, version, and language
• Operating system and device type
• Viewport and screen dimensions
• A screenshot rendered client-side (no external capture server)
• The CSS selector of any highlighted element
• Any text the Reporter voluntarily enters

The widget does not track Reporters across sessions, does not set persistent cookies, and does not collect any payment information. You, as the website owner, are the data controller for feedback submitted by your users; Feedzap acts as a data processor on your behalf.

You must not use the Feedzap widget to collect sensitive personal data (as defined by GDPR Article 9) without obtaining explicit consent from Reporters.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the widget to collect data from users who have not consented
• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory User Content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or subscription restrictions
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair Feedzap's infrastructure
• Use automated scripts to generate artificial feedback submissions

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including the Feedzap name, logo, dashboard interface, widget code, and underlying technology — are and remain the exclusive property of Feedzap. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership right to you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service solely in accordance with these Terms.

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may close your account by contacting us at hi@feedzap.live. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately — with or without notice — if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will retain and delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Uptime targets, where stated, are provided as goals, not guarantees.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FEEDZAP AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FEEDZAP IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or a prominent notice in the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
